The Hawks didn’t play any defense at the Magic shot 55.4% from the floor and they didn’t show much heart as were outrebounded 37-30. Jamal Crawford led the way for the Hawks last night with 18 points and 3 assists off the bench but he only shot 5 of 15 from the floor. Josh Smith was the one Hawks’ player who really came to play last night as he finished up with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Joe Johnson played a poor game as he was 5 of 15 shooting from the floor as he finished up with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Al Horford pitched in with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. The Hawks got swept 4-0 by the Magic by a stunning 25.3 points per game.

GAME #3: Orlando Magic 105, Atlanta Hawks 75

The Hawks only shot 34.9% from the floor and they were outrebounded 51-34 which explains the scoreboard yesterday. The Hawks didn’t look like they wanted to play yesterday. Jamal Crawford led the way for the Hawks in this game with 22 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 31 minutes off the bench. Josh Smith was the only big man who really came to play for the Hawks yesterday with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Al Horford pitched in with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists but he was dominated by Dwight Howard of the Magic. The Hawks are down 0-3 to the Magic and they are looking like they are toast.

The Hawks were only down 1 point heading into the 4th quarter before the Magic thumped them 28-15 to pull away. The Hawks didn’t play much defense in this game as the Magic shot 55.9% from the floor and it cost them in this game. Al Horford really came to play for the Hawks last night with 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots. Jamal Crawford was solid off the bench for the Hawks last night with 23 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 34 minutes. Joe Johnson only shot 5 of 16 from the floor as he finished up with 19 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists. Josh Smith had a solid game with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists last night. The Hawks are now down 2-0 in this series as it shifts to Atlanta.

The Hawks didn’t show up last night as they only shot 34.6% from the floor and they were outrebounded 53-35 which helps explain the scoreboard. They also didn’t show much effort defensively as the Magic shot 52.4% from the floor which also didn’t help things. Josh Smith led the way for the Hawks in this game with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals in only 23 minutes on the floor. Zaza Pachulia put up a fight in his 21 minutes on the floor as he had 12 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. Joe Johnson had a night to forget as he only shot 4 of 11 from the floor to finish with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 30 minutes on the floor. The Hawks are now down 1-0 in this series.

GAME #7: Atlanta Hawks 95, Milwaukee Bucks 74

The Hawks were very serious yesterday as they outrebounded the Bucks 55-34 and they also held them to 32.6% shooting from the floor which were the big reasons for the blowout. Jamal Crawford led the way for the Hawks in this game with 22 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists in 35 minutes off the bench. Al Horford was solid around the basket with 16 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocked shots. Josh Smith (15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 blocked shots) and Mike Bibby (15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists) both helped out offensively for the Hawks yesterday. The Hawks won a tough series 4-3 and for that they get the prize of dealing with the Orlando Magic starting tomorrow.
