The Atlanta Hawks need more production out of their centers
The Hawks need more production out of 27-year old Zaza Pachulia and 33-year old Jason Collins at center. With Al Horford likely out for the rest of the season, the Hawks don’t have many options at center, so they are going to have to roll with Pachulia and Collins. Pachulia has played in 24 games (10 starts) for the Hawks so far this year and he is averaging 21.5 minutes, 6.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. He is also shooting 55.1% from the floor so far this year, so maybe the Hawks need to get him the ball more. Collins has played in 13 games (3 starts) for the Hawks so far this year and he is averaging 10.5 points, 1.0 point, 1.6 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game on a pathetic 31.3% shooting from the floor. Collins isn’t much of a player at this point in his career.
