Hawks getting production from their rookies
First round pick Shelden Williams has played pretty well for the Hawks so far this season. Williams has played in 19 games and has averaged 21.7 minutes, 6.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. Williams is a good defender and rebounder that looks like he has a bright future in the NBA.
Solomon Jones has been pretty good when he’s got on the court. Jones has played in 15 games and has averaged 9.6 minutes, 3.1 points and 2.2 rebounds. Jones is also shooting an impressive 51.7% from the floor.
Cedric Bozeman hasn’t adjusted too well to the NBA yet. He has played in 18 games and has averaged 8.9 minutes, 0.9 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game so far this season. He has only hit 26.9% of his shots from the floor.
This looks like another productive draft for the improving Hawks.
